ILCA.nz promotes ILCA racing in New Zealand.

We work to support all New Zealands racing ILCA sailors, from the elite sailors on the international stage and to grass roots club sailors. This is reflected in the annual New Zealand National Championships - a unique event where we have sailors as young as 13 in 4.7's and sailors in their 70's and 80's in the older masters age groups - all rubbing shoulders with our top international representatives.

Each year ILCA.nz

• Coordinates NZ ILCA sailing across New Zealand
• Organises the NZ ILCA National Championships
• Acts as the ILCA District Association to represent NZ ILCA sailors within the NZ and international ILCA and sailing communities

International Laser Class Association (ICLA) class rules require you be a member of a District Association (ILCA.nz in this case) to race an ILCA in any ILCA event, such as the NZ ILCA National Champs. Part of your subscription is paid to ILCA.nz and to Yachting New Zealand on your behalf.
