Nelsons Ryan Amlehn accepting his trophy as the 2010 Under 16 world champion at the Royal Varuna Yacht Club in Pattya, Thailand.

After 12 races there was only 1 point between Ryan and Mark Spearman. The two had the lions share of the 1st and 2nd places throughout the regatta. Ben Whiteside from Christchurch YC was 5th in the same fleet of 30. Dylan Cox from Charteris Bay YC was 25th in the under 18 group.
